**GENERAL HOUSE RULES for Casual Homes Apartments**

These rules have been established to promote the common good and comfort of residents. Residents must adhere to the rules of the municipality and the building. Residents should consider the behavior of others living in the building. Residents are also responsible for disturbances caused by their guests. Additionally, the terms agreed upon in the accommodation agreement and the service conditions of Casual Homes must be followed. You can find the rules and service conditions in the apartment folders.

**Check-Out**

On the departure day, the apartment must be vacated by 12:00 PM unless otherwise agreed. Before your departure, we ask you to complete the following actions:

- Empty the refrigerator and freezer, but do not turn them off.

- The dishes and cooking utensils used must be washed before leaving.

- Collect all your personal belongings.

- Bed linens can be left on the bed for easy removal by the cleaner.

- Return all moved furniture to their original places.

- Keys must be returned to Casual Homes, to Janita Rintala, or left in the apartment, as agreed with Janita. Janita will provide instructions on how to return the keys at the end of the rental period, janita@casualhomes.fi.

**Common Areas**

Noise in the apartment and common areas should be avoided. Particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, any activities disturbing residential peace are prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in stairwells, elevators, and other common areas. The communal areas, both indoors and outdoors, must be kept clean and in good condition. Fire safety regulations require that items are only stored in designated areas. In winter, balconies must be cleared of debris and accessible from snow.

**Apartment Maintenance**

Residents must take care of their apartments properly. Any water leaks or other issues should be reported immediately to Casual Homes.

**Keys and Doors**

For security reasons, there is no apartment address on the keys and keychains. Please handle the keys with care. Replacing lost keys can be very expensive, with costs reaching up to around 1000 euros. The apartment door must always be locked, and the interior door should remain closed.

**At the End of the Rental**

Residents must always keep the apartment tidy, wash dishes, and take out the trash to the bins daily. Final cleaning is part of Casual Homes' service. The client is responsible for restoring the apartment to its condition at the start of the rental. If the apartment is messy, the client will incur additional charges for extra cleaning.

**Trash:** Remember to recycle (glass, metal, paper, plastic, cardboard). Leaving electronic waste and hazardous materials in the apartment or common areas is strictly prohibited. Residents are responsible for the removal of such waste.

**Washing Machine and Dishwasher:** Remember to close the water tap for the washing machine and dishwasher when not in use. Leave the machine door open after use to allow moisture to evaporate. Use liquid detergent in the washing machine. If the apartment has a dryer, empty the water tank and clean the filter after each use.

**Bathroom**

Do not put anything in the toilet or drain that could clog it. Be careful when using hair dyes and shades, as they can leave permanent stains on tiles and sinks. Moisture removal must be ensured in the bathroom by keeping the bathroom door open when it is not in use. If the apartment has a ventilation system, never turn it off. Never block the apartment's intake or exhaust vents.

**Dusting and Ventilation**

Shaking out carpets and bedding is only permitted on balconies designated for this purpose. Shaking and airing clothes and linens, as well as drying laundry, is allowed on the balcony, but only within the balcony railings.

**Pets**

Keeping pets in the apartment without the permission of Casual Homes Oy is prohibited. Animals must not disturb residents or individuals legally residing in the building. Animals should not be allowed to mess up the building or the premises. Pets are not allowed in children's playgrounds or their immediate vicinity.

Don't hesitate to ask for help when you need it!

Keep the apartment clean and in good condition.

**Charges:**

All additional cleaning or other expenses incurred will be charged to the tenant. If a tenant causes disturbances in the building, the lease will be terminated immediately.

**HOUSE RULES**

- Smoking in the apartment is strictly prohibited! Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.

- Walking in the apartment with shoes on is prohibited.

- Trash must be taken to the designated area. Waste must be sorted according to the instructions.

- The oven and stove must always be cleaned after use!

- The resident must keep the apartment in good condition and clean.

- The microwave should not be used empty!

- Do not forget to TURN ON the water tap before using the washing machine and dishwasher! Remember to close the water tap after using the machines!

- If anything breaks, notify Casual Homes immediately at info@casualhomes.fi or janita@casualhomes.fi.

- The apartment must be vacated by 12 PM on the departure day unless otherwise agreed.

- Any disruptive behavior will result in the immediate termination of your accommodation agreement!
